Recovery is teaching me a lot about patience. It’s not about huge dramatic changes, it’s about the small, steady habits that build a healthier life over time.

I’m learning how much difference simple things make: showing up to support, keeping structure in my days, being honest with myself, and staying focused on what actually helps me grow. Some days feel easy, some days feel heavy, but I’m sticking with it in a way I never used to.

One of the biggest shifts has been realising that recovery isn’t a finish line. It’s more like training a muscle. A bit of effort every day adds up, and slowly things start to feel more balanced, more manageable, more grounded.

I’m taking better care of myself. I’m working on my mindset. I’m staying sober. I’m staying accountable. And I’m trying to build a life that feels stable and meaningful.

It’s not perfect, but it’s progress. And right now, that’s enough.
