Almost 8 Months Sober | Reece McGee
I’m approaching eight months sober, and recovery has become the most important part of my life.
The last eight months haven’t been about quick fixes or dramatic changes — they’ve been about consistency. Showing up sober every day. Taking responsibility. Learning healthier ways to cope with stress, emotions, and life in general.
Sobriety has given me clarity and stability. It’s allowed me to rebuild routine, focus on my mental health, and start trusting myself again. Recovery is ongoing, and I stay connected to support, remain honest about where I’m at, and take things one day at a time.
Progress in recovery is quiet, but it’s real. Every sober day matters, and I’m committed to continuing this journey with accountability and self-respect.
